About Us
The Franklin Track Club was established in 1983 by Mr. Carl Wade and other parents who were passionate about track and field. Their mission was to provide a program for children who enjoyed running and racing. Since then, many of the children have gone on to become very successful athletes in high school and college. A number of them have gone on to college on track and field scholarships.
Anyone who has children, or who is around children, knows that children run everywhere they go. They run through the house, they run around the yard, and they also run in the halls at school. Our program tries to harness this energy and give it some direction, structure, and discipline.
Our children are very talented and every summer we have children and young men and women who qualify for the National Junior Olympics and the Hershey National Championships in Hershey, PA.
Our club is open to anyone living in New Jersey and the children in our program range in age from 7 to 17 years old
